{"id":22,"date":"2024-10-21T09:25:31","date_gmt":"2024-10-21T09:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.missculturenc.co.za\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2025-01-26T10:50:55","modified_gmt":"2025-01-26T10:50:55","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.missculturenc.co.za\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<h1>Welcome to Miss Culture KwaZulu Natal<\/h1>\n<h1>culturally beautiful!<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Inspire young girls to exercise virtue and prudence as they establish the architecture of their life.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Advocating positive traditional culture to eradicate harmful aspects of traditional culture\nTo promote social cohesion and unity through activities \n.<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Occupy those who are on school holidays with some activities that will give them a sense of pride and belonging\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">To instil pride and dignity to young girls who chose to preserve their virginity\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><marquee speed=\"faster\" behavior=\"alternate\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.missculturenc.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Sponsor3.png\"><br><\/marquee>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h1>About Ubuntombi Bami<\/h1><br>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ubuntombi Bami is a cultural development programme by Winzar Trading, that is aimed at encouraging young girls to preserve their virginity and serve its local community as preparation towards Umkhosi Womhlanga.<br><br>\nWith so many sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies, this programme will help to ease the problem. It is a sense of national pride and a true symbol of the unity of the Zulu nation. It offers emotional gratification to the girls for keeping their purity. <br><br>The Programme is divided into small other programmes such as Cultural Beauty Pageant, Camps, Seminars and Skills Development Workshops, \nEvery year these programmes will help young girls to recognize that many people brag about how many sexual relations they have had, but they shouldn\u2019t let that make them inferior. <br><br>They will be constantly reminded that they took right decision for themselves and always remembers that they have different values from those people, and that the number or frequency of intercourse one engages in is not a universal measure of success.\n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<h2>From the Executive Desk<\/h2>\n<p><font color=\"white\">4th March marked the day when the first Miss Culture Umhlathuze Municipality was crowned. The event was successfully organised and coordinated by Winzar Trading. The first annual Miss Culture to be hosted in the shores of North KZN was proudly hosted and financially supported by Umhlathuze Municipality.<br><br>\nMiss Culture is focusing on preserving culture of ubuntombi while encouraging young women to choose the best path for their own future. \nThe event and its build up activities attracted lots of young girls. Women in Leadership, Women in Rural Areas specialising in virginity testing and preservation, Women in Entertainment and Women in Media. <br> <br>The project targeted young girls in rural areas and in township where opportunities are less and where culture is still treated as the precious by the community. <br>\nFor the purpose of sustainability, the project was held in three phases: Pre- Event which was planning and coordination, Main Event \u2013 Pageant and Post event \u2013 Mentoring which will be accompanied by Business skills and Life Skills sessions. \n<\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h1>Main Event and Crowning Moment<\/h1>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">The event attendance did not disappoint. The event was graced by the attendance of great women who cares about young girls grooming.  Among the dignitaries were Ndlunkulu MaCebekhulu Zungu, Cllr Mkhize and the and First Lady of Umhlathuze Municipality Mrs S Ngwezi. The pageant contest was judged by the well known KZN Celebrities Qwabe Twins &#038; Dj Happy Girl while Thandeka Zulu was the Programme Director of the day \n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Local artists such as Mr TV Biyela and Shakes Ngema kept the audience entertainment with Ntencane as the main act. <br><br>Queen Zinhle Ngubane who is the 3rd year student at the University of Zululand was crowned the 1st Miss Culture, with Mandisa Zungu as the 1st Princess and Asanda Dlamini as the 2nd Princess  from Ngwelezane.  <br><br><\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px\">Apart from the main contest, there was also a prize for the best imvunulo, The best modern traditional attire winner Mnotho Mthembu is the designer.
